Meeting Dates and Locations for 2010

Our meetings will be held on the following dates:

• Board of Directors - Sunday, May 23, 2010, 9:00 AM, at the Black Bear Inn in Orono.

• Board of Directors - Sunday, July 25th, 2010, 9:00 AM, at the Holiday Inn on Odlin Road in Bangor.

• Board of Directors - Sunday, August 22nd, 2010, 9:00 AM, at the Holiday Inn on Odlin Road in Bangor.

• Board of Directors - Sunday, October 24th, 2010, 9:00 AM, at the Holiday Inn on Odlin Road in Bangor.

• General Membership - Sunday, December 5th, 2010, 9:00 AM, at the Holiday Inn on Odlin Road in Bangor.

Members are welcome at all Board meetings.

2010 Show Schedule

We look forward to having you stop by the MPGA booth at the following Maine Sports Shows:

Eastern Maine Sportsman Show (Orono) - Friday March 12 to Sunday March 14, 2009

Pine Tree State Sportsman Show (Wilton) - Friday March 19 to Sunday March 21, 2009

Presque Isle Fish and Game - Saturday March 27 and Sunday March 28, 2009

Maine Sportsman Show (Augusta) - Friday April 2 to Sunday April 4, 2009

There will be raffle drawings at the shows, membership applications, and Super Raffle ticket sales packets at these shows.

2010 Annual Meeting and Banquet

Celebrate our 31st year at the Annual Membership Meeting and Banquet on Saturday, April 10, 2011.

There will be a brief Annual Membership Business Meeting and Election of Directors; Recognitions and Awards; Door Prizes; Raffles; and a live Auction of donated items.

Maine Guide Tips (Update 9/23/09)

We have launched a series of information and education articles called "Maine Guide Tips" that you can print and hand out.

These now include information about: How hunters created the worlds most successful conservation approach; How to avoid "Wanton Waste" when moose hunting; How Maine controls the spread of rabies; Rules for using Forestry Roads; How to identify Spruce Grouse; and an introduction to the Soft Plastic Fishing Bait issue.
