Attention Hunting Guides!

We Need Your Help

Can you help MPGA by participating in a special presentation at L.L.Bean's Hunting Expo on Saturday September 27 and/or Sunday September 28?

We need hunting guides who can come to L.L.Bean's Freeport store, and either give a short seminar or demonstration on a hunting topic, be part of a panel of guides who will talk about a hunting topic, or just be present to man MPGA's display booth.

We hope that several member guides will step forward to conduct the presentations or panel discussions. Hopefully we will be able to put on at least one presentation on each day. You will not need to be there all day, just when you are presenting.

Topics

For topics, we really want to excite people and draw them into the hunting sport. A few ideas for topics come to mind:

• What are the wildest things you have encountered in the woods?
• Some stories of your best trips, or most rewarding trips;
• Strange things you have seen game (like deer) do;
• Finding good bird habitat;
• "I was attacked by a..." (insert your animal, like "rabid anti");
• Demonstrations like moose calling, deer tracking, whatever.

Do you have any other ideas? Please let us know about your specialty. This is a great chance for some exposure.
