Membership News - November 14, 2008
1. MPGA Meetings:
- Membership - Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 9:00 AM. Super Raffle winners will be drawn. Location is the Holiday Inn on Odlin Road in Bangor.
- Board of Directors - Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 9:00 AM. Location is the Holiday Inn on Odlin Road in Bangor.
Members are welcome to attend all Board meetings.
2. Idaho Elk Hunt Raffle Winner:
The Elk Hunt Raffle drawing was held on October 26.
Congratulations to winner Kevin Harland of Carver, Massachusetts.
Thanks to everyone who bought tickets, and to our members who sold them. Special thanks again go to MPGA member Joe Cabral, who donated the Idaho Elk Hunt that is worth $4,250.00. It is members like this who keep MPGA in the forefront of issues in Augusta so guides can stay in business.
3. Super Raffle Deadline:
The DEADLINE to submit Super Raffle tickets is November 28, 2008.
NOTE: The drawing for the Super Raffle Winners will be at the MPGA Membership meeting on December 7th. Failure to submit tickets before the drawing date will result in INELIGIBILITY for receiving Sales Contest Prizes and of course NO CHANCE for a winner among your ticket buyers.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Make your checks payable to "MPGA", and mail them with the ticket stubs and Sales Contest Form before November 28 to:

4. Super Raffle Sales Incentive Program:
Note: You must include a Contest Registration Form when submitting your ticket money and stubs. Otherwise you will not qualify for the prizes.
Prizes will be awarded to anyone who sells lots of tickets!
- Sell $1,500 in tickets - win a Marlin 45/70 Guide Gun with MPGA emblem.
- Sell $1,000 in tickets - win a $200 LL Bean Gift Certificate.
- Sell $500 in tickets - win a $100 LL Bean Gift Certificate.
The Gift Certificates will be mailed to winners before Christmas. The Rifles will be awarded at the Annual Banquet in April.
