2. Bob Barrows Chevrolet Barrows Chevrolet is offering a very generous incentive through our Pro-Plan. They are offering all members the ability to purchase new Chevrolet vehicles for $500 under invoice, they are also allowing the member to take all of the incentives. This will allow for a greater opportunity when purchasing your next vehicle. MPGA members will also get GM’s commercial program which amounts to $500 in accessories or a $500 GM rewards card. 4. Cabela's Your MPGA is now part of Cabela's Business to Business discount program. This program allows MPGA members to order merchandise from the Cabela's catalog using a dedicated telephone number. Merchandise will then be shipped directly to the member’s home. Keep in mind the discount varies from 5% to 30%. (Increased in 2012 from 25% to 30%, for mail order sales only, due to the professionalism and volume of sales from our membership!) Cabela's brand items carry the biggest discounts. Benefits of the Cabela’s ProPlan: · The program can be utilized to purchase any item Cabela's offers for sale via the internet or through a catalogue except for products in the kids’ department, already discounted specials or bargain cave items and extra fees that apply for alterations, licenses, shipping, etc... · Gift cards can now be purchased through the mail order program ONLY at a discounted rate of 15%. · Hats can be embroidered with $0.00 application and set up fees. You will only pay for the cost of the item and the embroidery. Their corporate catalog has outlined some very competitive pricing in the past. · Other items for embroidery are also discounted but you will need to speak to corporate sales about the discounts which vary per item, quantity etc. Things to remember: · The discount program is not to be shared with non-members. They have and will receive an updated membership list monthly on the first day of the month from us. · You will not be allowed to ship items to other addresses or members of their family to other locations other than the address on your membership with MPGA. · The member must call the designated customer service phone number which is only available between 9am to 7pm Eastern Time Monday-Friday. This phone number and the required account number will be provided to you on the back of your membership card. · The member must identify themselves and provide the account number which is to be shared by all members of MPGA. You will then be verified as a MPGA member through a list we provide to Cabela's. · You need to prepare yourself a little in advance prior to shopping at the store. Please remember to be polite at all times when using this discount. There may be glitches as we implement this new program and a cooperative attitude will make resolving problems simpler for everyone. Cabela's has asked us to do the following at the store: 1. Check out at a regular register at the front of the store. 2. Advise the clerk you are a member of MPGA 3. Provide the clerk with your current MPGA membership card and a photo id. 4. A front end manager will come to the register and swipe a card for MPGA 5. If there is a problem where the cashier or manager is unfamiliar with the program – you have the option to buy without the discount, buy with the discount they are offering or to POLITELY decline the order and buy it via mail order or at a later date… Under no circumstances are you to argue or become confrontational with the employees. 13. Hertz Rental Cars Hertz offers discounts on rental of a full-sized through mid-sized car (Class C, D, or F) for a day, weekend, or week. An upgrade is available. You will be required to show the Hertz membership card, available from your ProPlan Coordinator. Be sure to mention this offer and your CDP# at the time of reservation.
14. L.L. Bean Member Guides get direct discounts at the L.L.Bean retail store in Freeport, Maine, by mail order, and by telephone order! Discounts for MPGA members are typically 33%, and range up to 40%. The discounts are available 365 days a year, and are restricted to items for members' use either personally or by the members' clients. Products covered include outdoor items like hunting, fishing, camping and boating gear, plus clothing and footwear.
