We are excited to have your help with the annual “Super Raffle”, one of the MPGA’s most important fundraisers.
Every year, we sell tickets to raffle off trips that members have pledged. The tickets are available for sale all year, and the drawing is done at our general membership meeting in December. There are several categories of trips, ranging from bobcat hunting to a vacation package. One lucky winner is drawn for each one, and gets to choose among all the trips pledged within that category. Additionally, everyone who buys a ticket is automatically entered into a “bonus drawing”, which changes every year, but is always a great trip! We hope that you will help by either pledging a trip or selling tickets. Remember, when more trips are pledged, the likelihood of being chosen by the winner is spread out more evenly over our association, and more tickets sold means more much-needed revenue for our MPGA.
There’s another big reason for you to sell tickets for the super raffle: the prizes, which include a featured gun and great gift certificates! Every member selling the tickets becomes eligible for prizes based on how many tickets he or she sells, and the prizes are earned, which means that if you sell enough for the prize you get it.
