"2012 Annual MPGA Super Raffle" Raffle Ticket Sales Contest
Sponsored By:
Earn a Reward for helping MPGA New for 2012: We have had to make changes in the prize system due to the way the guns are now manufactured. We will no longer be offering the “series” of prizes. Each year there will be a new gun offered and this will be your one and only chance to win this. If you do not want the gun prize - we are offering you the option of getting the gift certificate from Cabela’s, or LL Bean. We have added a new category to the ticket of a $1000 gift certificate from Cabela’s, LL Bean or Orvis so trips are no longer the only option. (So sell these to your neighbors and friends …. Or buy one yourself!) Still the same: You can still sell multiple chances for the bonus prize on the ticket (This year – this is a fishing trip for 2 in Alaska!) You are still able to win multiple prizes as a prize will be awarded for every $1,500 milestone you achieve. Note: You must register to win (see below). Only one prize per person will be awarded. Prizes are not cumulative. You Must Register to be Eligible for Prize Award Print and fill out the following form, or click here for a printable Raffle Contest Registration Form
Note: Make checks payable to "Maine Professional Guides Association" or "MPGA". Be a Player - Support Your Association The Super Raffle is one of our primary sources of income. We must raise money each year so MPGA will be a strong and effective force in protecting our guiding privileges and traditions. Our cultural and traditional outdoor sporting activities under constant scrutiny and attack by individuals and organizations whose ultimate goal is to change our way of life. Environmental preservationists are accelerating their efforts to secure large tracks of land that will prohibit hunting, trapping, fishing, snowmobiling and other traditional uses. Do you remember the 2004 referendum that would have prohibited the taking of bear with the use of traps, bait and hounds? You bet we all do! The price tag to defeat the animal protectionist was $1,700,000, and the MPGA's share of that bill was $250,000. Well, these people have not gone away. The Humane Society of the United States, Maine Friends of Animals, the Animal Protection Institute and others are well aware that we defeated them by a narrow margin. Don't forget, they are constantly watching Maine and waiting for another opportunity to trample all over our cultural and traditional outdoor activities. We must raise money! Without money the MPGA is just another small voice in the wilderness. Be a Player - Donate a Trip: The 2010 super raffle will be our biggest yet. All trips are donated by members. There are ten prize categories, and each category will have a separate drawing, and only one winner in each category. Each winner will be able to choose one prize from among the many offered in each category. Therefore, donating a trip does not necessarily mean that your donated trip will be chosen by a winner. Eight Prizes: - Each category has a separate drawing and winner! (Click each prize for full details & list of choices)
