Furs, Feathers, and Fins guide service is owned and operated by Ethan Stubbs. The primary focus is Rabbit and Turkey hunting, and also having success with moose hunts, open water fishing, ice fishing, and waterfowl hunting. The business is based out of Brooks, Maine with a camp for lodging on Passagassawakeag Lake (Randall Pond), and through a camp in Rockwood, Maine just off Brassua Lake. Two moose hunts have been guided in zone 23 and zone 25 both of which were successful with clients harvesting impressive bulls for the area. With having been on 8 moose hunts, all have proved successful with calling the primary means of bringing moose out of the woods. This proves to be extremely exciting when a 900 lb bull steps out less than 40 yards away. Furs, Feathers, and Fins prides themselves on guiding junior hunters and fishermen. The first ice fishing trip with junior fishermen is a guarantee they will catch a fish, or a full refund. Rabbit hunts are a favorite with 75+ rabbits harvested every year over beagles. The sound of three beagles howling through the woods in hot pursuit of the elusive hare proves to be an experience you will soon not forget. With over a thousand acres land available for hunting, spring turkey hunts are a must. Tom turkeys are called in within shotgun or bow range gobbling and strutting their way in. The sound of a gobble within shotgun range puts thunder in your chest and fire in your eyes.
